Class news and lockdown plans

We hope you are all in good health and had an excellent weekend.I am sure you are all aware that from Thursday 5th November a second lockdown is due to begin across England and we are unable to open our dojo classes. We are grateful that we've been able to meet each other and train in person for the last two months. It has been brilliant to get back together doing what we all love. If we all follow the guidance, we will all be back training together before we know it! Classes due to run tonight, tomorrow and Wednesday will run as normal (with the exception of Tottington tonight). So if you'd like to get some pre-lockdown training in, we have some spaces. With that said, even a lockdown doesn't stop our Club. We will continue to provide lessons on ZOOM so that you can all keep training and keep your fitness levels up. I am already working on an exciting timetable that will keep you motivated and working hard throughout the November. You know that you can rely on our team to come up with something awesome.Think of the positives - you won't have to wear shoes, you can set off for class 5 seconds before it starts, you can jump straight in the shower once you've finished class, your tea is 2 minutes away, you could have a mid-class jaffa cake break etc. Everything will be good, we will stick together and make it work! With regards to the many students who have already booked and paid for November. We thank you for your support. We would encourage you to join us on ZOOM so that you do not miss out on your training. Every class will run with its usual Instructor at the usual time to keep your routines/tuition consistent. Some Instructors may choose to combine their classes together so that they can offer more tailored feedback and help you to continue to improve. We will also offer classes specifically tailored for higher grades so the standard remains as high as possible. You'll be able to make bookings through the APP as usual and we will record your attendance online. The link for your class will be emailed to you around 4pm on the day. We appreciate that there will be a price difference, especially where families training together are concerned. ZOOM classes will be priced at £6 per class per household or £30 for unlimited training per household. Those who have already paid for ZOOM Unlimited throughout October will continue to receive links until Thursday 5th November, then you'll need to rebook. We also appreciate that ZOOM is not suitable for everyone. If you would prefer a full refund or you need a part refund based on the prices above, we will do this. Please be patient though, there will be a lot to get through and I will work through everyone as quickly as I can. Please email info@redtigerkarateclub.co.uk and provide the following information:

  • Students name(s) (e.g. Dexter Wolstencroft)
  • Classes you booked in advance (e.g. Tottington Mondays x 4)
  • Amount paid (e.g. £24)
  • Your PAYPAL email address (if you don't include this, it can be very hard to find your transaction)

We prefer not to move your bookings/retain credit to December or January as we are not certain when we will be able to re-open. We await permission to restart from the EKF when it is considered safe to do so. We have the following spaces available this week:
