Kata and Kumite Squad Classes

Dedicated Classes for students wanting to pursue competitive karate

We run a dedicated program for those students wanting to enter the world of competitive karate. Students in these classes have competed at both national and international level. We have access to highly experienced instructors both inside and outside of the club.

If a student is interested in coming along to one of these classes, then they must be a minimum grade of green belt. No tournament experience necessary and there are opportunities to compete in regional tournaments through the RTK team. Opportunity to attend selections for the EKF Northern and National Teams and go on to compete Nationally or Internationally. Paul Wolstencroft Sensei our Chief Instructor is the English Karate Federation Kata Coach for the Northern Region and our Youth Development Officer.

RTK currently has currently active members on both the National and Northern Region EKF Squads. If you are looking for a Club that can offer you great opportunities and unrivalled support - you’ve found it!

These classes can be booked via the app and all green belts and above are welcome.
