You can take part in Kata, Kumite, Family Kata or Kickmaster events and there is a certificate for every single student who takes part. Nobody is left behind. So save the date and get practising. You could win some beautiful medals and make some new karate friends on the day!
You don't have to be there all day, you can just simply turn up at the time of your event. The schedule is published a few days before so it's not an all day job unless you want it to be!
Fair Play Rewards - We will be awarding fair play points again to individuals who display exemplary behaviour and wonderful etiquette. There will be a Fair Play Trophy for the Dojo who collect the most Fair Play Points. Rob Sensei’s Stretford Dojo are the reigning Champions.
Dojo Championships - You can also earn points for your dojo by taking part (1 point), winning a bronze medal (1 point), winning a silver medal (2 points) and winning a gold medal (3 points). Dave & Debbie Sensei Dojos were Champions in 2024 with Jon Sensei’s Stockton Heath dojo not far behind. Can they do the DOUBLE in 2025?
Kath Head Award - We also celebrate Individual Achievement with the Kath Head Award. Steve Atherton was the lucky recipient in 2024. Who can show great determination and fighting spirit in 2025?
Picside are also attending this event so you will be able to purchase some great action shots/medal photos on the day. As usual we will have a shop and refreshments will be available on the day.
