AMA National Championships Results - Sunday 29th May

We are pleased to report that we had a great day at the AMA Championships in Bury. This was our first time at this competition and all the students did us very proud. The way they stick together as a team and support one another is brilliant.

Our team was made up of the following brilliant 11 Red Tigers:

Izzy Baron Charlotte Griffiths, Lola Fellone, Georgie Dyal Lola Girault, Grace Baron Sensei, Daisy Parton, Jaime Pratley, Ellis Pindoria-Stott, Greg Burton and Loui D' Attorre.

Our team never let us down, they are a credit to their parents and our Club. Win or lose, draw or DQ, they all show great spirit and true sportsmanship. A special mention must go to Charlotte Griffiths who bravely entered her first external competition. She performed an excellent Kata and made it to the quarter finals of the kumite. She is off to a flying start. Well done missus.

Loui D' Attorre alson had an excellent day bringing home 2 silvers and a bronze medals. Great job Loui.

RTK Club Championships

If you are feeling inspired by our Squad Champs, our own club competition is fast approaching on Sunday 26th June.

This is our first club competition in over 3 years and we are looking forward to it.

There are 150 beautiful bespoke medals up for grabs and we have categories for everyone from beginners to black belts. Our club comp is just for fun, a great way of challenging yourself whilst having fun with your karate family and friends. It is always a great down out and we will be awarding certificates of participation for everyone who gives it a go.  Book Here

Also, remember our squad classes are open to anyone. If you want to get down to Kata Squad with Mike Sensei, Grace Sensei and Gary Sensei you will be made more than welcome. It runs this Tuesday 7-8pm at Thornleigh Salesian College.

Much of the training our classes throughout June will be tournament based so you will have plenty of time to practise and be ready!
