Student of the Year Awards - Sunday 12th December

We have decided to hold our Student of the Year Awards in person on Sunday 12th December.

Our 2020 winners are practising their Katas and the Instructors have given in their nominations.

The emails will be going out early next week to those who have been chosen by our Sensei’s.

Every student put forward will receive a large trophy which is engraved with their name. This is yours to keep forever.

One lucky student will be walking away with a 2nd trophy. The top prize is always chosen by Sensei Paul Wolstencroft. Will it be you?

Fun and Friendly Kata and Kumite Competitions will be happening in classes throughout November

We have over 200 medals up for grabs!

November is our Kata and Kumite month and each class will hold their own mini Kata and mini Kumite competitions.

Who will be Kata or Kumite CHAMPION of your Dojo?

We are about to find out!

This will be part of your normal class and is just for fun. You will learn more about competitive karate.

Through taking part in the Kata and Kumite bouts, you will be able to learn more about the rules and how to perform at your very best!

We can’t hold any big events at the moment, but that won’t stop us challenging each other, making our classes challenging and fun and above all – improving our karate!

Dan Grading Date 2022

Our next Dan Grading will be Sunday 27th February. So if you are due your next Dan grading – get training hard as this is just 4 months away! It will roll round before you know it! Check out our events page for what else is happening right up to April 2022.

Licenses are compulsory with all reputable martial arts clubs, this covers you for member to member and public liability insurance and 1 years membership to RTK and the English Karate Federation.

You can purchase one by following the link below:
