Happy New Year! 2020 News
Happy New Year to all of our members and families. We hope you had a relaxing and enjoyable break.All classes are back up and running and we are all raring to go!There so much to look forward to in 2020 and it's shaping up to be another packed out calendar of challenging training and exciting events.There is a red printed calendar available to collect at classes to keep you up to date with everything that is coming up or you can check out the events page of our website.
Throughout the month of January we have:
- Karate Fitness, Kata and Kumite Boot camp on Sunday 19th January - 12pm-3pm
- Open Squad class on Wednesday 22nd January - anyone can attend this squad class at Thornleigh High School in Bolton 7pm-8pm. Test yourself against the very best the Club has to offer and see if you've got what it takes to join our 2020 squad and develop your competitive karate.
- Cadet Leader and Assistant Instructors for 2020 will be selected by Instructors in classes by the end of January. Brand new badges will be awarded to those selected.
- Bring your family members for free until the end of January! Mums, Dads, sisters, brothers, any family members who do not already train can join in our classes throughout the month to get fit, have fun and try karate.
- Combined Senior Class on Monday 27th January
In February we have;
- JKS England Squad try outs on the 2nd Feb so selected Squad members.
- We see the return of the Club Gradings on Saturday 8th Feb in Stretford and Sunday 9th Feb in Bolton.
- Our first Cadet Leader and Assistant Instructors will be held on Sunday 9th February 11.30am-1pm
- Combined Senior Class on 24th February
- Team GB's Joe Kellaway Sensei will be doing a kumite Course on Saturday 29th February and we will be following this with another trip to Ninja Park and Inflatable obstacle course. You will be able to book this online soon.
In March we have;
- The annual JKS England Kagawa Shihan Course running in Nottingham on Friday 6th and Saturday 7th March (Saturday is sold out already)
- A Kata Course with English Karate Federation Kata Senior Squad Coach Ady Gray Sensei on Sunday 15th March. Online booking will be open soon.
- The return of the Ultimate Training Weekend 16! Friday 27th-Sunday 29th March at Haf ny Mor Haven, accommodation prices and Guest Instructors will be announced very soon.
