Dojo's to re-open very soon!
Following the Government announcement and plans to ease lockdown on Monday, we are pleased to report that our dojo classes will be re-opening as soon as we get the go ahead from the English Karate Federation and our venues.Over the next few weeks we will be working very hard to establish which dojo's will be returning, when and how we will be able to operate our classes. We expect that some level of social distancing may remain in place to begin with. Places may also have to be limited once again. Our priority will be our existing students, so class places will be offered to members first before we allow any new beginners to join. These are all steps in the right direction for us and we are eager to get going as quickly and safely as we can.It is going to be BRILLIANT!With that said, we still have the month of March to train on ZOOM and with light at the end of the tunnel, now is a good time to get yourself back to training if you've been unable to motivate/fit us in over the last few weeks.February has been great, we've run our Karate Kid Competition, held a Super-fit Sunday and a Kumite class with Joe Kellaway Sensei. Hundreds of you have been training hard with our wonderful Sensei's. We thank you all for the support and keeping us going! We plan to fit in the following in March:
- A Kata Week and FREE Kata Competition to run on ZOOM
- ZOOM Kyu Grading (our last we hope!)
- Joe Kellaway Sensei Kumite Session
Plus all our usual classes will run as normal.
